The tasks change from week to week depending on the needs around the farm but they usually involve some physical labor with the potential to be a little dirty or messy (alternatives for the others in the group can be provided). Closed toe shoes are required on the farm and it's recommended to wear hats and long sleeves to help mitigate sun exposure. Gloves are provided by the farm, but feel free to bring your own.
****There is a tour option at 11a.m. once the volunteering portion is over. If you would like to take the tour please email Kennedy Van Dyke. The tour is not part of the volunteering hours, however, ECHO is an amazing place and we recommend employees to take advantage of this free opportunity.
