Volunteers,
Due to construction starting in the spot we were going to volunteer and pick up trash at, we will no longer be cleaning up Fort Myers Beach. We tried to secure another spot on the beach but all are accounted for already due to other company events. It was recently brought to my attention that several years ago LCEC adopted part of Hancock Bridge pkwy. It’s been a few years since LCEC employees executed a road side clean up and given the current circumstance I believe it to be a great alternative. I know it’s not the beach and I understand if employees would like to cancel and save their hours for another event. Please let me know if you are still interested in volunteering and I will be sending out calendar invites for the briefing meeting on Thursday, April 4. This opportunity will account for 3 volunteer hours.
